A shabby restaurant near the small train station in the countryside satisfies the hunger of tired and poor people who want to finish their hard days with a simple but sincere meal. The owner of the restaurant, Gyung Soo, is always able to make an affordable but warm supper for his guests, along with Young Shin, who’s like a sister to him. She’s come to the restaurant every day for supper since she was young, and after the past 12 years, she’s grown very close with Jun Hoon, Oh Bok, and Da Jung. All those who are lonely, poor, and hurt for different reasons come to the restaurant to be consoled by one another. To give back to those who raised and cared for her so warmly, even though they weren’t technically blood-related, Young Shin decides she wants to become a person who is figuratively just like a warm meal soothing a hungry world.
